What You’ll Bring
The Financial Operations Analyst will partner closely with all business units across multiple functions within Tesla Gigafactory, to ensure excellence within Procure to Pay (P2P) process. To succeed in this role, the candidate must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, problem solving skills, and a result driven mindset.
What You’ll Do- Support accounting functions to include, but not limited to, the creation of journal entries, reviewing and resolving open balances within various accounts, reconciliations, and others
- Support with successful monthly, quarterly and year end close activities and audits in areas related to accounts payable and the finance organization
- Guiding and educating business partners to comply with P2P applicable policies and procedures
- Respond to vendor inquiries and interact with vendors regarding issues relating to invoicing
- Reconcile vendor statements and work with planners and/or buyers to resolve discrepancies
- Uphold corporate policies in the accounts payable and cash disbursement areas and ensure controls are followed for compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of German tax and VAT requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel
- Action-oriented and solution-driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and interpret data
- Fluent in English and German
