We are currently inviting applications for part-time Reservations Agent to join our team in The Ross Hotel. The work schedule is 5 hours a day Monday to Friday with straight working hours from 9am to 2pm. Hours and days may vary slightly depending on business needs.

The Role
As a Reservations Agent, you will be the main point of contact for guest’s bookings. A friendly, polite and professional telephone manner is essential for this role. A passion for customer care will ensure our guests receive the best possible service from the moment they contact us. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy environment.
Main Responsibilities
To manage reservations, with accuracy and a high level of detail.
Effective rooms management, maximising total rooms sales potential within the hotel, cross selling to other departments in the hotel.
To follow our four star standards at all times, ensuring the guest is looked after at all times and encouraging repeat business.
To ensure an accurate and timely response to guest enquires, whether it be by phone or email.
To attend hotel and department meetings as required ensuring effective communication at all levels.
To manage all group bookings / tour groups with a lot of attention to detail.
To inform all departments of VIP arrivals.
To upsell to all customers amenities for rooms
To record requests for special accommodations.
